Hotel d’Inghilterra Roma – Starhotels Collezione

Our rooms were lovely. Just renovated, so they were pristine. Good amenities in the room and very clean, quiet. No view as our room overlooked the inside quadrangle of the building which was covered in scaffolding for ongoing renovations. Breakfast was okay. We've stayed at the Hotel before and remember the breakfast being better - more choice, but it was still very good. At checkin my husband and I were upgraded to a little larger room which is always very nice.

Beautifully renovated new rooms and marble bathrooms. Superb veranda overlooking the Roman rooftops, perfect for breakfast. Amazing friendly staff, attentive to every detail and able to anticipate every single need. Best location, the only hotel situated inside the designer district, seconds from every major boutique. Food was delicious.

I had asked that my room and linens not have perfume, and that request was honored. Most important, was the kindness and courtesy of the staff; Massimo and his concierge group were especially helpful, as were the restaurant staff. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to have us as guests.

The staff are amazing in this hotel and the customer service is superb. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious and the location is perfect. We travelled at the start of August for 5 days and there is still some work being done on the façade of the hotel, but didn't take away from it one bit.
